‘UFO’ Explosion In Space Recorded By California Stargazer Elijah Prychodzko

What was it that Elijah Prychodzko recorded through his telescope that appeared to explode in space?
In the late afternoon of Dec. 20, the Sacramento man was peering into the sky when a sudden flareup of light caught his attention, reports the New York Daily News.
Prychodzko quickly put his smartphone camera against the telescope viewfinder and started a video recording.
“I saw something that I’d never seen before. I saw another object orbiting this, whatever it was up there, and I’ve never seen anything like that before,” Prychodzko told Sacramento TV affiliate CBS 13.

The amateur stargazer is heard on the video saying, “Oh, my God, it blew up. Something just blew up.”
Prychodzko contacted and gave his video to Cody Stark of CBS 13’s “Good Day Sacramento” program.
“It’s his camera phone shot through a telescope lens, so we zoomed in and slowed it down. It certainly looks suspiciously like an explosion,” Stark said on the news report.
Stark then sent the video to Stephen P. Maran, author of Astronomy For Dummies.
Maran, who has worked on various NASA programs and is the press officer of the American Astronomical Society, told CBS 13 he doesn’t think the reported explosion was an astronomical phenomenon.
Nobody has come forward to officially explain the event.
