More UFO Sightings over Hatfield

A UFO that was seen mysteriously floating above Hatfield has prompted a number of calls.

We reported last week that the glow of a strange orange light, emitting a “weird haze”, was spotted near the university in Hatfield.

A similar light was also spotted by a WGC woman in Bushey Ley.

The resident, who wished to remain anonymous, said she had “never seen anything like it before”.

“I saw exactly the same as what Gary Dinneen did,” she said.

“It was like a round orange light glowing in the sky. It was moving slowly horizontally eastwards.

“There’s no way it could have been a plane or a meteorite. It was certainly weird, I’ve never seen something like that before.

“I was wondering if anyone else saw it and when I read the WHT I realised it wasn’t just me, so I wasn’t going mad!”

The 56-year-old added: “I was always a sceptic, but after seeing that I couldn’t be anymore. It was so unusual that I had to stop and look at it, until it disappeared.

“There must have been other people who saw it as well.”

Another reader was also prompted to call us this week after reading last week’s report.

The St Albans Road West woman said she had seen multi-coloured circular lights moving around in the sky.

“I am positive they were not the lights of any aircraft, it was something most odd.”
