Stephen Curry Says NASA Never Went To The Moon, NASA Responds

Forty-nine years ago, NASA’s Apollo 11 spacecraft successfully transported the first astronauts to the moon’s surface.

Buzz Aldrin left the first footprints on lunar soil, which are still around.
A plethora of artifacts were left behind by Apollo 11, as well as NASA’s Apollo missions that would follow.
Yet despite the fact there is a wide range of images and videos online available that show that mankind made it to the moon, millions of people around the world believe NASA never managed to land on the lunar surface, and that everything was a massive hoax, staged from a studio tucked away somewhere in Hollywood.
Now, the latest person to come forward and call out NASA for faking the moon landing is NBA superstar Stephen Curry who argues that NASA never actually set foot on the moon.
Stephen Curry, the three-time NBA champion, made a surprising statement while interviewing for the podcast called “Winging It,” hosted by the N.B.A. players Vince Carter and Kent Bazemore as well as Annie Finberg, a digital content coordinator for the Atlanta Hawks.
In a relaxed chat that led to some existentialism and pseudo-deep off-topic questions as the sound dinosaurs made, Curry eventually shifted gears asking the others if they believed the United States had put a person on the moon.
“We ever been to the moon?” he asked hosts Vince Carter, Kent Bazemore, Annie Finberg, and his colleague Andre Iguodala
The others, in unison, agreed that the answer was no.
“They’re going to come get us,” Curry replied. “Sorry, I don’t want to start conspiracies.”
NASA took time and eventually responded.
NASA has invited Curry, who plays for Golden State Warriors, on a tour of their lunar laboratory to look at the rocks.
“We’d love for Mr. Curry to tour the lunar lab at our Johnson Space Center in Houston, perhaps the next time the Warriors are in town to play the Rockets,” said Allard Beutel, a NASA spokesman.
“We have hundreds of pounds of moon rocks stored there and the Apollo mission control. During his visit, he can see firsthand what we did 50 years ago, as well as what we’re doing now to go back to the moon in the coming years, but this time to stay.”
NASA successfully orchestrated six moon landings between 1969 to 1972, as 12 American astronauts set foot on the lunar surface.
Curry is not alone in the disbelief that NASA never set foot on the moon.
However, as the agency explains: “There are answers to all the questions raised by the nonbelievers, but one of the strongest arguments is that all the Apollo missions were independently tracked by England and Russia (our allies and enemies), both of whom sent letters of congratulations after the moon landings. In the midst of a heated space race, the Russians would have called our bluff if the landings had not actually happened.”
Now, NASA is working on another plan to return to the moon after a request from President Trump.
