Painted in history: two UFO’s spotted in ancient painting of Jesus Christ?

The enigmatic paintings can be found on the walls of the Svetitskhoveli Cathedral in Georgia, where we can observe TWO curious disc-shaped flying objects with three strange trails coming out of each object, reminiscent of some sort of propellant.
No matter where we take a look, it seems that there’s evidence of mysterious flying objects all around the globe. Whether it’s oral tradition, religious texts, petroglyphs or even art, it seems that people from the past left us small clues of what they saw hundreds or even thousands of years ago in the sky.
One particular painting which has created a hot online debate can be found on the walls of the Svetitskhoveli Cathedral in Georgia, where a painting of the Crucifixion of Christ shows strange objects that immediately stand out.
The painting shows the image of Christ crucified with people gathering around him, but the strange objects wich have sent many UFO enthusiasts into a frenzy are two mystery objects located on the top right and left corners of the paintings which are eerily similar to ‘flying discs’.
But, what sort of technology could have been present on Earth and flown across the skies thousands of years ago?
Did the artists who painted this masterpiece really depict flying discs? Or whats he trying to portray something entirely different? The opinions are mixed.
The mystery objects painted next to Christ appear to be dome-like, disc-shaped flying objects with three curious trails coming out of each object, reminiscent of some sort of propellant.
While these objects are certainly curious, they are not the only ones out there which suggest people may have seen something ‘advanced’ flying in the air thousands of years ago.
In the last couple of years, Christianity and religion, in general, has been highly linked with extraterrestrial activity. In fact, there are many people who agree that worldwide religion is based on ‘beings’ not from Earth. God is not from Earth, hence in translation He is an extraterrestrial.

Many curious things have been found in recent years related to Jesus and His life.
One of the most bizarre discoveries related to Jesus Christ are two ancient manuscripts written in Coptic language—hosued in the Morgan Library and Museum in New York City and at the Museum of the University of Pennsylvania—which suggest Jesus Christ was a shape-shifter.
The ancient texts state:
“Then the Jews said to Judas: How shall we arrest him [Jesus], for he does not have a single shape but his appearance changes. Sometimes he is ruddy, sometimes he is white, sometimes he is red, sometimes he is wheat colored, sometimes he is pallid like ascetics, and sometimes he is a youth, sometimes an old man …”
As you can see, from paintings containing alleged UFOs to mystery texts which describe the impossible, there are many mysteries which surround religion.
Nigel Watson, author of the UFO Investigations Manual believes that the above image does not depict actual UFOs.
“Here are numerous examples of what to our modern eyes look like astronauts and spaceships in ancient and religious artworks.”
“What we have to understand is that artists in the past did not adhere to literal representations of things and often used symbolism to tell a story to give greater meaning to the picture. In this crucifixion of Christ, the UFOs are representations of light (life) and darkness (death). Many artists painted the sun and the moon, faces or angels to present these symbolic elements. Basically, there are no aliens to see here.”
Art historians who have studied the 11th century painting indicate we’re definitely not looking at UFO’s, and that the weird dome-shaped ‘crafts’ are representations of guardian angels. Weird angles though, don’t you think? If you ask me, and I’m not an art expert, I’d say that the two objects represent the Sun and the Moon, if not UFO’s. Notice how the supposed dome-shaped object in the upper left corner is reddish in color, while the one in the upper right corner is pale.
But many others would disagree with Mr. Watson pointing to a painting called the Baptism of Christ by De Gelder, painted in 1710.

The curious masterpiece depicts what many have interpreted as one MASSIVE disc-shaped UFO shooting down beams of light towards Jesus. According to Ufologists this painting undoubtedly depicts what is known today as a flying saucer, a mysterious otherworldly craft with rays of light emanating onto Jesus below.
