Alien hunters spot a HUGE object near Antarctica and make a massive claim about its origin

ALIEN hunters have spotted a gigantic iceberg on the coast off Antarctica and claimed it’s an mysterious alien ship hidden in the ice.

The gigantic 500 metre-long object, which you can see by clicking here, looks like an ordinary chunk of ice that’s sheered off the coast of Antarctica.

But that explanation is not enough for the wilder minds of the internet, who suggested it could be an “underwater extraterrestrial base”.

“I’m not an iceberg expert but this object is really peculiar and looks like a vessel disguised as an iceberg,” wrote the website UFO Sighting Hotspot.

“It looks out of place.”

To most people, Antarctica might just appear like a grim old frozen wasteland at the bottom of the world.

Yet some conspiracy theorists believe it’s hiding evidence of ancient lost civilisations and others have even claimed to have spotted UFOs parked in some of the continent’s caves.

The latest sighting sparked the attention of UFO hunters because of its weird shape.

Normally. icebergs come in a variety of shapes, which you can see in the graphic above.

They claimed the iceberg spotted on Google Maps does not fit into the usual categories of iceberg.

However, with the best will in the world, it’s tricky to believe that a great big bit of ice is an underwater base simply because it looks a bit strange.
