Flying saucer’ UFO filmed in the sky above Glasgow city centre

The mysterious object was captured on video late on Friday, seemingly darting around in the sky near the entrance to Glasgow Green.

A ‘flying saucer’ has been spotted in the sky above Glasgow city centre.

The mysterious UFO was captured on video late on Friday seemingly darting around the sky close to the entrance to Glasgow Green.

The unusual sighting was caught on video on Clyde Street after a night of torrential rain had battered the city.

A street lamp blinks on the left hand side of the road, while on the bottom right of the picture a mystery object zips around, up and down, left and right, as cars on the Saltmarket drive below.

The passer-by who captured the ‘craft’ said: “I was stunned to see what looks like a flying saucer in the middle of town.

“It just scuds around in the sky as cars pass by underneath, seemingly oblivious.”

“It looked pretty erratic, but it’s Glasgow on a Friday night so maybe little green men like a drink too.”

Scotland is a hot bed of UFO activity with a number of sightings of mysterious flying objects captured in recent years.

They have been spotted everywhere from Loch Lomond to Bannockburn.

And they have been seen above both urban and rural areas.
